PCJCC was founded in 2012 following the merger of the Mana and Whitby Junior cricket clubs. The club attracts players from throughout Porirua, reaching as far north as Pukerua Bay, and offers cricket for students in school years 0 to 8.
The club champions inclusiveness and good sportsmanship, with the committee, coaches, and managers dedicated to ensuring that players have an enjoyable cricket experience while also having the chance to develop and refine their skills.
This year, PCJCC aims to surpass 200 registered members aged 5 to 12/13.
The season kicks off in early November, featuring a total of 17 games, along with additional Sunday matches. There are also some pre-arranged games tentatively scheduled with other Wellington-based clubs, both home and away. For the latest club news, please check our Facebook page.
SuperStar cricket is available for school years 0/1 to 3 on Mondays from 4-5pm at Ngati Toa Domain, located on the south side of the public toilets.
Saturday Club Cricket is offered for school years 2 to 8.
Every year we send teams to Hawkes Bay Cricket Camps which provide an opportunity for some teams in the hardball grades to participate in the annual cricket camp held in Hastings during January.
